We wish we could have met under a bit better circumstances as we guess you're probably struggling with your toddler, child or teen right now. We've been through this. Parenting can be really tough for sure, but that doesn't mean you're a bad parent.  What is hard to accept is that you can't expect your child to make a change in his behavior because it's actually your own behavior, reactions, words that literally shape your child's behavior.
That's why it's so important to know and apply parenting skills (which are basically communication skills) in order to understand your child and really connect with him. Achieving this is like opening a door to a completely new, healthy, peaceful relationship with your child. We're not born parents, right?  So we have to learn to be parents, but facing difficult situations with our kids doesn't give us any clue on how to react differently, make our kids understand the rules we set up.In our group of parents, we're just grateful we found effective parenting programs for our toddlers, children and teenagers and spreading the word about them is something that matters to us a lot.
